- Beverly Hills mansion, formerly the site of Dean Martin’s home, was built by late mall developer Guilford Glazer.
The 10,376 square foot property contains five-bedroom and a staggering 12-bathrooms, which does seem extreme but perhaps everybody in Maroon 5 wanted to bring a friend. The massive concrete home is about 27,500 square feet and has a modern museum-style look, said listing agent Jeff Hyland of Hilton & Hyland. It has large teak doors, a two-story atrium, a ballroom, a large dining room and dramatic water features, including a series of manmade ponds and waterfalls. There is an indoor pool as well as a 98-foot outdoor swimming pool.

The concrete structure, which has a modern museum style, spans 27,500 square feet, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported on the listing. Called “The Glazer Estate,” it was most recently owned by the late megamall developer Guilford Glazer and his wife Diane Glazer, who died in April. The existing mansion includes six bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.

In 2021 the house’s ask was cut again to $59 million, which was the asking price when the house went into contract in October 2022. The 27,500-square-foot mansion was purchased for $40 million, or $1,456 per square foot, by Zad Mountain LLC, according to property documents. Zad Mountain is managed by Shirin Akhtarzad, an entrepreneur and developer who has worked with companies such as Lenton Properties. Throughout his stay in the lavish home, Martin made sure to host parties, where he invited several Hollywood stars of the 1960s era.

Dean Martin — who died in Beverly Hills in 1995 — also owned a spec mansion about two miles down the road in the Trousdale Estates, where much of the recent real estate action has been in Beverly Hills. The neighborhood did not just consist of luxury houses for individuals and families; other buildings were also used for certain events.

Five years later, Martin was diagnosed with lung cancer and refused surgery to prolong his life. While filming the latter movie, Martin met Frank Sinatra, and the pair became best friends. They eventually formed the group "Rat Pack," which also had Sammy Davis Jr as a member. Dean Martin's former home has been heavily renovated and is now on the market.
